- Job Title Bio-Oncology Specialist Representative - Pretoria
A Global pharmaceutical company has an opportunity for an experienced specialist representative to join their successful team.
Your Key Responsibilities
Objective:
To call on targeted specialists/HCP’s in a specific therapeutic area to promote the use of the company’s products, in line with the strategy.
Educate HCP’s on complex & new concepts
Build support & endorsement from HCP’s (specialists, nursing staff, practice managers, authorization personnel, pharmacists & pharmacy personnel)
This position is in the Pretoria territory and includes country trips
Key result areas
Measure performance against objectives, manage budgets, monitor sales growth opportunities, adherence to compliance processes at all times
• Implementation of programs and strategies to relevant customer base
• Continuous targeting and updating of customer database
• Awareness of market trends and competitor activity
• Facilitate training to all personnel involved in product administration
• Research, analyse, plan and recommend new business opportunities and sales and marketing strategies/tactics
• Achieve all established sales KPI’s, sales budgets and objectives
• Plan & organize your territory to achieve optimal outcome
• Build and maintain relationships at all relevant HCPs not limited to Oncologists, Haematologists, Rheumatologists, Gastroenterologists, selected GP’s, Pharmacists, Pharmacists Assistants, Nursing staff and Practice Administrative personnel
• Administration responsibilities
• Territory management (Pretoria & country trips)

• Arrange CME’s, promotional events that may at times be outside of standard working hours

• Reporting of technical complaints, adverse events, medical enquiries in line with the relevant SOP’s
Minimum requirements
Qualifications
• Matric + Tertiary qualification (minimum 3 years, preferably Sciences)
• Pharmaceutical sales experience of 4 years minimum
• Previous experience with specialists will be advantageous (preferably Oncology, Haematology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology)
• Previous experience with Oncology practice HCP’s will be advantageous
