Head of Digital Marketing is generally responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing the overall digitalmarketing strategy. In addition, they are responsible for managing, guiding, and training digital marketers and other positions in the team.

 

As a Head of Digital, you will be responsible for setting up, implementing, and managing the overall digital marketing department and the digital marketing strategy.

 

We are expecting you to have experience and a huge passion for digital technologies and utilizing different digital marketing channels.

 

Key Performance Areas (Core, essential responsibilities –outputs of the position)

 

  • Build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy
  • Manage the strategy
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align communication strategies and
  • Develop, lead and manage the digital marketing team
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices
  • Manage and oversee different digital marketing channels
  • Measure ROI and KPIs
  • Prepare and manage digital marketing budget
  • Oversee all the company’s social media accounts
  • Measure and manage online content
  • Analyse SEO, Google Analytics and social media analytics to provide data enriched recommendations to drive brand strategies and maximise ROI
  • Develop attribution models to support future campaign decisions
  • Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement

 

Minimum Requirements

 EDUCATION

  • Any Degree in ,BCom, Marketing or Informatics ( beneficial )

 EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years of experience as a Head of Digital Marketing
  • 10 years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics and social media analytics tools and resources

 

SKILLS/PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES

  • In depth knowledge of SEM and social media digital marketing channels
  • Good knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices
  • Basic knowledge of web design procedures
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on Austell’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing a digital strategy with return for business
  • Ability to analyse data and identify trends

 

General working conditions (e.g. shift work, drivers’ license, specific tools, special clothing, environmental requirements, etc.)

 

  • Analytics tools will be made available as needs

 

Travel

  •  May be required sporadically as per business
