A Multinational Pharmaceutical company has an opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain manager to ensure that supply chain supports the business objectives and delivers reliably to customers. 

Job Purpose: 

This position establishes and facilitates the realization of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy, mission, and business objectives. The Supply Chain Head identifies and takes action to deliver service and financial value. 

Major Accountabilities: 

Sales and Business Planning (S&BP): 

• Run S&OP process for all markets and clusters. 

• Agree on optimal inventory levels in markets in alignment with country organizations and in line with contractual agreements. 

• Agree on required orders with country organizations. 

• Ensure timely booking of orders and track production, release and shipments with the Supplying hub. 

• Address and resolve any issues affecting supply of products to markets. 

Sales Forecasting: 

• Facilitate and agree sales forecast with country organizations. 

• Ensure effective and timely communication (upload) of short term and long-term forecasts to site. 

• Ensure sales forecasts are in line with in-market sales plans and target levels. 

Launch Management: 

• Provide best launch supply performance and ensure active participation and inputs by Supply Chain in alignment with Country Launch Manager and Regulatory. 

• Ensure close alignment and coordination with site Launch Manager in order to secure timely production and launch of new products. 

Tender Management: 

• Ensure effective tracking and timely booking of tender orders. 

• Closely monitor production dates. And align with supplying hub on timely, production, release and shipment of orders to delays and avoid penalties. 

Project Management and Process Improvement: 

• Lead and participate in special projects as and when required by company (e.g.: sourcing of 3PL warehousing operations, optimizing supply model, incorporate bar coding, product standardization, etc.). 

Process Improvement: 

• Improve SC processes and develop country Supply Chain Strategy according to NTO Supply Chain Strategy. 

• Develop associates (talent pipeline) and assure succession plans are in place. 

Key Performance Indicators: 

• Pack fill rate 

• Forecast accuracy 

• Inventory coverage 

• Sales
