A multinational pharmaceutical company SA invites confident Product Managers of the Western Cape to apply for a position in the Marketing division at Head Office.  The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, and a depth of experience in driving successful product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Understand the market and competition for the product
  • Help to develop product roadmap and competitive positioning
  • Manage product launch
  • Support sales with product training, demos, customer presentations & data sheets
  • Connect with customers and the sales team to understand specific needs
  • Manage all aspects of the pre and post-launch product life cycle, including monitoring and reporting on the in-market activity, responding with tactical development and marketing activities to ensure continued profitability and growth

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in marketing, business, or scientific discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in OTC or Scripting industry
  • Self-motivated, with a strong eye for detail
  • Initiative to work within and develop business processes through innovation
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • A depth of experience in using communication skills to participate in and influence cross functional teams
