RESPONSIBLE PHARMACIST -WAREHOUSE AND DISTRIBUTION
Degree in Pharmacy;
Registration with the Pharmacy
Council of South Africa;
Minimum 10-15 years relevant
experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory affairs and/or
Good computer literacy
Key Duties and
Calibrations of equipment in accordance with the
Entrench good housekeeping with staff.
Training of staff on all relevant SOPs and filing
of training records.
Ensure compliance with GPP as published by the
Pharmacy Council; and GWP / GDP published by SAHPRA.
Release of incoming materials and finished
products to the market.
Be responsible to the South African Health
Products Regulatory Agency for compliance with the Medicines and Related
Substances Act No 101 of 1965.
Be responsible to the Pharmacy Council for
compliance to the Pharmacy Act No 53 of 1974.
Oversee the compilation of product dossiers,
review of the documents and submit to SAHPRA for the registration of products.
Responsible for procedure(s) of regulatory
affairs activities including pharmacovigilance, ADRs.
Production, Warehouse and
Liaise with 3rd party manufacturers
of the company’s products including annual forecasting and planning.
Approval of orders and quotes of various
materials and components.
Ensure that the necessary validation /
qualification of equipment and processes are executed and maintained.
Ensure efficient audits (internal and external)
are conducted in order to manage vendors and compliance.
Management of staff
