Specialist Rep – Oncology/Immunology

Job Description
KEY OBJECTIVETo call on targeted specialists in a specified therapeutic area to promote the use of the company’s products, in line with strategy.Educate HCPs on complex and new concepts.Build support with all specialists, nursing staff, and practice managers incl. authorisation personnel as well as key pharmacies linked to patient flowKEY RESULT AREASMeasure performance against objectives, Manage budgets and monitor sales growth opportunities.• Implementation of programs and strategies to relevant customer base• Continuous targeting and updating of customer database• Be aware of market trends and competitor activity• Facilitate training to Nursing Personnel and other people involved in product administration• Research, analyse, plan and recommend new business opportunities and sales and marketing strategies• Achieve all established sales budgets and objectives.• Plan, organize your territory to achieve optimal outcome.• Build and maintain relationships at all levelso Specialists (Oncologists, Haematologists, Rheumatologists, Gastroenterologists)o Selected GPso Pharmacistso Nursing staff and practice administrative personnel• Administration responsibilities• Territory Management• Account Management• Time Management• Planning• Record keeping• Reporting• Arrange CMEs and small scale events

Minimum requirements
Matric + Tertiary Qualification, (Science or Commerce)Pharmaceutical Sales experience of 2 years minimumProven success track record of salesPrevious sales contact with Specialists (Oncology, Haematology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology)KnowledgeKnowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry, especially complex Speciality products with key Oncology or Immunology stakeholders will be advantageous.
